Summer Fayre Raises £976 for Charity
A Summer Fayre at Hurst Community Centre raised nearly £1,000 for Pennine Mencap. Local businesses, entertainers, and volunteers made it fun.
The event had stalls, games, a raffle, a princess, a ukulele band, BBQ food, and the Mayor joined a fun exercise session.
The money will help Pennine Mencap with costs and services. The event showed support and made a space for everyone to enjoy and be themselves.
