The Vagrancy Act is 200 years old. It punished street sleepers. Now, the Government wants to help with more money for homeless people.
New rules will stop bad things like begging and trespassing to keep us safe. They won't punish people just for sleeping outside.
The Government plans to help stop people from losing their homes by working with councils and other groups.
