New Lord-Lieutenant Chosen
John Jeffrey will be the new Lord-Lieutenant for Roxburgh, Ettrick, and Lauderdale after Richard Scott retires on 4th July 2025.
Mr Jeffrey studied farming, played rugby for Scotland, and helps find a cure for MND with My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
Mr Jeffrey runs a farm and has worked with the Moredun Foundation and Scottish Rugby. He is also a Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant.
