In June, see the Summer Triangle, Strawberry Moon, summer solstice, and Bootid meteor shower. Exciting for sky watchers!

The Summer Triangle is made of three bright stars: Vega, Deneb, and Altair. You can see them in the east after sunset in summer.
The Strawberry Moon is on 11 June. It's called this because it's time to pick strawberries. The moon will be low and might look red.
21 June is the summer solstice, the longest day. The northern Earth is closest to the Sun. It starts summer.
The Bootid meteor shower is from 22 June to 2 July. Look for meteors on 27 June in Boötes, before dawn or after dusk.
